Meet The Team
Shona Brown
Shona started in the Automotive Glazing industry in July 2011 with National Mobile Windscreens as a trainee technician after completing an IMIAL Level 2 Certificate in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair at Bridgwater College.
Shona continued to progress from strength-to-strength during her time at National Windscreens, serving 11 years with the company and being promoted to branch supervisor, master technician, and regional trainer. She was also awarded ‘Technician of the Year’ for 2018/19.
Shona is now a recognised body, on the professional register for the Institute of the Motor Industry for her qualifications obtained throughout the duration of her career so far.
Hobbies: Shona has a huge passion for music and cars. In her spare time, she helps run her family livestock farm and enjoys dog walks & spending time with family and friends.
Kevin Winslade
Or Crow as he’s more formally known!
Kevin left school in 1978 and went straight into the motor trade working at CS Motors in Taunton. He moved over to the Automotive Glazing Industry shortly after and has remained here since, working for various windscreen companies in his time such as Windshields Ltd, Mobile Windscreens, Bridgwater Windscreens, and Phoenix Windscreens.
As you can imagine, he has watched the industry grow and vehicles change dramatically and always tells stories of fitting ERF windscreens on the side of the M5 stood on the roof of his van.
Kevin currently holds an GQA Level 2 NVQ Diploma in Automotive Glazing and has an extensive amount of knowledge in all makes and models of vehicles, particularly thriving in the classic cars as that’s what he has grown up doing.
Hobbies: Kevin is a keen fan of the F2 stock car racing & lives locally to Smeatharpe Stadium where he attends regular meetings. In his spare time, he enjoys dog walks and caravan holidays with his wife and friends.
